Working Foreperson

We are a long standing and ever-growing Property Services business built around skilled tradespeople and we’re currently looking for a Working Foreperson to join our Planned Works Capital team in Hampshire. You’ll help deliver essential upgrades—mainly kitchens and bathrooms—in our clients’ homes, making sure every job is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard.

Reporting to the Contract Manager, you’ll oversee a range of work, including carpentry, electrical installation, flooring, decorating and property refurbishment. You’ll also be an important link between our office and site teams, working mainly in customers’ homes.

The Working Foreperson role:

• Help manage the day-to-day delivery of planned works, mainly kitchen and bathroom projects/contracts
• Support the Contract Manager in supervising tradespeople and site activity
• Complete and oversee work including carpentry, plumbing, flooring, electrical installation, decorating and internal painting
• Carry out site welfare and health and safety checks, including safe working practices, PPE and equipment inspections
• Support pre-work inspections, site set-ups and final checks on completed work

What will you bring as a Working Foreperson?

• A relevant construction qualification—ideally SSSTS—plus a trade or technical qualification such as NVQ Level 2
• Experience overseeing site operations and ensuring work meets safety, quality and contract standards
• A good understanding of building regulations, health and safety legislation and industry standards
• Knowledge of common construction methods, site hazards, risk assessments, incident investigations and quality checks
• A practical, organised approach to problem-solving
• A full, current UK driving licence
