The Learning and Development Construction Specialist will involve:
- Champion Workforce Excellence, by collaborating with the People Development Manager to ensure our Operational workforce is fully qualified and compliant with the Building Safety Act, setting the standard for excellence.
- Forge strategic partnerships with CITB, proactively managing development and maximise funding and partnerships to expand and enrich our training programs, providing top-tier learning experiences.
- Partner with the Health & Safety Manager to enhance safety standards across our operations, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
- Be innovative while designing and implementing cutting-edge training programs for key trade skills, empowering our workforce with the tools they need to excel.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training on critical operational, legal, and safety topics, keeping our team informed and prepared.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to enhance our digital learning offerings with interactive and engaging content.
What will you bring to the Learning and Development Construction Specialist role:
- Proven experience in designing and delivering operational training within a trade, construction, or maintenance environment.
- Relevant qualifications in L&D, training, or a related discipline. Assessor or trainer qualifications (e.g., AET, CTTLS) desirable.
- Strong knowledge of compliance, safeguarding, and risk management in operational settings.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing trade-specific learning programs and professional development pathways.
- Confident in the use of MS Office applications and other IT software (e.g., Canva, Articulate, Open AI).
- In-depth understanding and ability to apply learning and development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
