Gas Engineer

Templer HomeBuild are currently looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our successful responsive maintenance and larger works team based in Newton Abbot. 

Our trade team produce work to the highest standards and deliver outstanding customer service, therefore we seek individuals who are as equally as invested as us in continuing to improve people’s homes, lives and the local community.

The Gas Engineer role:

• Carrying out landlord safety checks/servicing in accordance to compliance regulations
• Completing boiler repairs where required
• Ensuring all works are completed considering yours, the residents and the teams health and safety
• Some minor plumbing works such as replacing radiators etc
• The ability to work professionally and demonstrate excellent customer service skills within people’s homes, including vulnerable settings
• Working individually and as part of a trade team, Templer HomeBuild have a fantastic network of support 

What will you bring as a Gas engineer?

• Qualified to a minimum NVQ 2 level in Plumbing or similar professional body, plus have current range of ACS Gas registration, including CENWAT
• Excellent customer service skills and a strong commitment to retaining these standards whilst working in a professional environment.
• Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the Gas Engineer role
